uTelnetD - Micro telnet daemon

 

Micro Telnet Daemon (utelnetd) allows you to connect remotely to an interactive shell on the MG-35/45.

Usage

telnetd [-p port] [-i interface] [-l loginprogram] [-d]

 

-p port          specify the tcp port to listen on

-i interface     specify the network interface to listen on (default: all interfaces)

-l loginprogram  program started by the server

-d               daemonize (ignored - to be fixed)

 

The developer version of utelnetd displays /etc/issue upon connection.

History

Built to replace (bulky) busybox telnetd with utelnetd.

  • Much smaller. 60k of RAM while running.
  • Now receives and forwards terminal size changes.
