powerdown

powerdown opens the FIP device and requests it to kill power.

Description

• Simply tells FIP to kill power.
• multi-entry executable, can also be renamed as "reboot"

The powerdown command is quite immediate, so do not issue it before unmounting disks.

Status

• reboot doesn't work [John: somewhere between the kernel and the bootloader it gets lost]
